yo yadevapratikṛiṁ pratiṣhāpayati priye | sa tallokamvāpnoti bhogānapi tadudbhavān ||

“Lord Śri Sadāśiva said: O Dear Devi! Th person who does the pratiṣṭhā, which is the science of
breathing life into matter and making it a specifi Deity (living form of Divine), he attains the abode
of that very Deity and experiences the enjoyments of that abode. By donating a temple made of bricks,
one resides in the heavenly abode for thousand crore years multiplied by hundred times. By donating
a temple made of stones, one attains the divine merit (puṇya) which is ten thousand times more.”

What is a Hindu temple?
At the heart of Vedic tradition and Hindu life is the sacred tradition of temples, the energy centers where the Divine resides. Any human settlement in vedic civilization has flourished around temples making Hinduism, a temple-based civilization of celebratory traditions. Each temple is an energy circuit created by an enlightened master or incarnation and retains that energy for thousands of years. Temple rituals are processes to invoke and radiate different energies.

In 2014, under the direct auspices of living incarnation, ParamahamsaNithyananda, construction began at the existing Nithyanandeshwara Temple at Bidadi ashram, for building the world’s largest Shiva temple, which is the first golden temple built for Lord Shiva in the modern era. The temple is being constructed as per the Agama Shastras, the perfect scriptures directly mandated by Lord Shiva.
